A dozen fliers is the goal ...

I had three more conversations today with people about backyard hens and handed each of them a backyard hens flier. Two of the three shared that they would like to own hens. The third person liked the idea and share that a friend of his living in Ward 5 owns hens. He shared that this person also owns a very popular local restaurant. (I'm going to be reaching out to him to see if he is interested in posting some fliers.)

I'm calling my goal of getting fliers into people's hands "the soft launch". I have committed to sharing the backyard hens flier, that is located at thebubh.wixsite.com/bubh for you to print, with a dozen people that I think might be supportive. My challenge is to accomplish this within one week. This puts me at 5 so far in two days.

When we eventually have the opportunity to speak to our City Council we need an overwhelming, documented support for allowing backyard hens. Get the word out and encourage everyone to write in favor of backyard hens. We should have a dozen positive emails for every one against. Only you can make this happen. Let's not give City Council an opportunity to say that the majority is opposed.
