"Councilwoman Jacquie Sullivan,

I live in Ward 5 where Bruce Freeman is my Councilman. I am writing to you regarding a Bakersfield Backyard Initiative. I have also written Mr. Freeman and Mr. Smith.

It is my understanding that in 2013 you were a positive supporter of an attempt to pass an ordinance to allow backyard hens. Thank you. I hope your views on this subject have only grown stronger in support over the years. I am part of a movement where citizens and neighbors are actively trying to make this happen.
