This is what we need to be doing ...

I just sent my second email to Councilman Bruce Freeman of Ward 5. I have copied it here for you to read. My hope is that it inspires you to take to action and tell our city government know that the topic of backyards hens is important to us.

You will find factual and educational information regarding why so many cities in our nation and state are allowing single resident homes within city limits to own a limited number of backyard hens. I look forward to hearing your views on this subject. After visiting the web site, it will be clear to you why I am in favor of allowing backyard hens. Also, you will see the numerous benefits for individuals, families, neighborhoods and cities. Thank you for getting back to me. I look forward to getting to know you and working together; as I have taken on leadership roles with the growing number of citizens that are in favor of this topic.
