A talk show host on this station has been speaking negatively and in opposition of the good work our City Council is doing with working towards finding a compromise to allow residents in the R-1 zone to own backyard hens.

Our community is showing their support of backyard hens with 92%, 254 votes casted in favor of to 8%, 21 votes against. Bakersfield Urban Backyard Hens (BUBH) supporters are being heard.
