We Need The Numbers ...

As disappointing as the workshop packet is we are not out of this. Just the opposite. We have always known that the City Planners that put the packet together would want to keep the status quo. The report is clearly bias. DO NOT LET THAT DISCOURAGE YOU. We are on the agenda. We have an opportunity to be persuasive. We have an opportunity to be heard. We have an opportunity to share our truth.

You need to write an email. You need to get every family member to write an email. You need to get your neighbors, relatives, and friends to write emails. This needs to happen now.

Imagine how powerful of a statement it will be on Wednesday, at the 3:30 Council meeting, when they have to share all the additional public comments that they have received since the release of the workshop packet on Friday evening. That statement (WE NEED THE NUMBERS!) will let our Council Members know that we are paying attention and are not happy with the direction the workshop packet is trying to take this discussion. We need to make that number so impressive that it cannot be ignored.

Write an email!

If you can show up on Wednesday - great. But, write an email tonight!
